Statement on Hurricane Helene – Wednesday, September 25, 2024, 11:00 am

State and National leaders have declared a state of emergency ahead of Hurricane Helene which is expected to make landfall as a major hurricane along Florida’s Big Bend coast sometime Thursday evening or early Friday morning. Conditions are beginning to deteriorate and Impacts all along Florida’s Gulf Coast are already being felt.

 

FLR is monitoring this system and is prepared to handle the impacts with engineers on call throughout the storm. Members and affiliates needing assistance should contact the FLR Network Operations Center (https://noc.flrnet.org/) if they have any issues.
